We are excited to announce Cheerleading for K-5th Grade. Get an early start on registration and join in on the fun this upcoming 2017 football season.

CHEERLEADING – 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade

This registration is for girls who will be in Third thru Fifth Grade during the upcoming 2017-2018 school year:

  • FEESThere is an “Early Bird” registration of only $345 in effect until April 21. Beginning April 22, registration fees will be $395. There will be a late fee assessed after May 15 of $25. The registration fee includes $100 worth of fundraising raffle tickets. Fundraising is collected now but once you sell your raffle tickets you keep the $100 proceeds. If you sell all your raffle tickets the “Early Bird” registration fee only ends up costing $245.  The registration fee includes league fees, practice space, operating expenses and uniform costs.
  • REFUNDS:  Since many items used during the season are ordered early we can issue an 80% refund if you must cancel your registration through May 31. No refunds after May 31.
  • PAYMENTS:  The online system accepts credit & debit cards.  PLEASE NOTE:  You must make at least a partial payment now or the system will automatically cancel your registration within 48 hours.  If you can’t make a payment now and need to make arrangements, it must be done within the 48-hour period by callingthe JCYFA Secretary (Jan Mercer at 770-993-9452 or 678-318-1802).
  • PLACEMENTS:  We will attempt, but cannot guarantee, to place our cheerleaders with their friends and neighbors, or allow them to cheer for their brother’s football team. Please let us know by making a special request in the section provided during the online registration process.
  • UNIFORMS:  We will have a uniform fitting in late-May or early-June; the date(s) will be posted on our website.
  • SUMMER CAMPS:  There are several cheer camps during the summer at local high schools.  These camps are optional and cost is not included in registration fee; camp costs are aprox $75 to $125.
  • PRACTICE:  Practice starts first week in August – we usually practice once per week for one hour, typically from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. Details provided by your Head Coach. Practices are held at local high schools.
  • GAMES:  During the season, games are every Saturday at local schools; season schedules are prepared by the League (not JCYFA) and are posted late-July. Please keep your Saturday’s flexible.
  • PLAYOFFS:  The season ends in mid-November depending on make-up dates for rain-outs, playoffs and championship games.

There will be a late fee assessed after May 15 of $25. The registration fee includes $50 worth of fundraising raffle tickets. Fundraising is collected now but once you sell your raffle tickets you keep the $50 proceeds. If you sell all your raffle tickets the “Early Bird” registration fee only ends up costing $150. The registration fee includes league fees, practice space, operating expenses and uniform costs.
